Reconstruction of Vascular Structures
Computer-assisted reconstruction of anatomical structures from CT and MRI medical imaging.
Category: Computer Assisted Diagnosis
Technologies: C++, 3D Texture Rendering guided by 2D Texture.
The computer-assisted reconstruction of anatomical structures from Computer Tomography and Magnetic Resonance imaging has become a very useful practice for medical diagnosis and surgery simulations. Vascular diseases are complex to analyze due to the complexity of the vascular structures. This project addresses the visualization and modeling of cerebral vessels obtained by contrast angiography.
In the next two figures we can see on the left, three images of original cuts, and on the right the 3D reconstruction.
